Anunuebe. ( King of all trees in Igboland)
Anunuebe is the most powerful and fearful tree in Igboland and is believed to be a natural oracle. No human gets close to Anunuebe tree not even a dibia unless the spirit residing in that tree left for a mission, that's the only time one can. And before going there you must consult a good rooted Dibia (chief priest) to help you check the movement of the spirit of Anunuebe because there's this specific month the spirit usually goes out.
That's the only time one can go there to take leaves, roots and other parts to use for preparing charms and medicine. Anunuebe grows in the forest far away from where humans live. If any bird perches on any branch of it the bird dies instantly. (Nnunnu-be).Strange Grasses and other trees don't grow close to Anunuebe.
When thunder strikes it can affect other trees but not great Anunuebe.
Anunuebe leaves and roots are believed to cure leprosy, syphilis and other ailments.
Many Igbo indigenes can testify to this.
Do like and share.
Stay Safe.
